Mindfulness therapy means firstly to have a daily mindfulness practice and to use what we learn from it to remain mindful, aware, during the difficult situations in life. In particular we become aware of our:
• Thoughts: “I must be stupid to do this”,
• Feelings: sadness, anger etc,
• Behaviour: aggression, withdrawing, doing a breathing exercise,
• Physiological changes: fast breathing, weight in stomach, pins and needles, nausea.
These are the big four, we will be coming back to thoughts, feelings, behaviour, physiological changes time and again. This Six-Module Cognitive Mindfulness Therapy Workbook will teach you how to simply observe what is happening to you in those four areas, particularly with difficult emotions. The aim is to become familiar with how the mind works and its habit patterns to improve your positive psychology.
Everyone, at some point or another, is uncertain about themselves, lacks self-confidence, doubts their abilities, or thinks negatively of themselves. However, if you think that you might have problems with low self-esteem, or are not sure if you have this problem but want to find out, then the Improving Self-Esteem Workbooks set might be helpful to you.
There are 9 workbooks each with descriptions, some information for you to think about, and exercises for you to work through to improve your self-esteem.
GAMBLING TREATMENT PROGRAM
This Six-Topic Treatment Program will suggest a number of techniques and strategies to help you cut back your gambling to a healthy level or, if you prefer, to quit gambling entirely. You will find this program helpful even if you have just begun to experience problems as a result of your gambling but did not think it was serious enough to seek intensive treatment. Alternatively, if there is someone you know with a gambling concern, this program may help you understand and, in turn, help that person.
This program differs from some other treatment programs for gamblers in the following ways:
- Studies have shown that most clients attend treatment an average of 6 times, which is why this Program has been structured so that the bulk of the treatment can be completed in about 6 weeks.
- This Workbook summarises the most effective ways to help someone trying to overcome a gambling habit. Each of the Treatment Topics includes a short description, some information, and an exercise for you to work on.
Dr CC believes that the material contained in this Workbook will go a long way towards helping you to make a change in your gambling behaviour.
Being assertive is an important communication skill that can reduce your levels of depression and anxiety and improve your self esteem. These workbooks are designed to provide you with some information about assertiveness – what it is, what stops us from being assertive and how to become more assertive. They are organised into 9 modules that are designed to be worked through in sequence. It is recommend that you complete one module before going on to the next.
Each module includes information, worksheets, and suggested exercises and/or activities.
This course is made up of 6 modules and each module takes about 2 hours. Each module deals with a separate section of anger, but as they all link together, it is important that you complete all six modules. However the first module aims to give a brief view of anger and offers emergency control strategies.
By completing the whole course you will understand anger and reap the benefits.

Each module deals with a separate section of anxiety, but as they all link together, it is important that you complete all six modules.
By completing the whole course you will understand anxiety and reap the benefits.
